About Sam

I took to writing later in life, when my children had flown the nest. Now I can’t get words onto paper fast enough for the characters who frolic through my head!

When I’m not writing you’ll find me out on the farm. I enjoy too many things in life to list them all here, but spending time with family and friends is a hobby I’m passionate about (and it usually involves food!)

I was born in London, married a farmer and became a countryside convert. I trained and worked as a riding instructor, and now I write rustic romance!

I hope my Draymere Hall Series will carry readers to another world and leave them happier when they finish a book than they were when they started.  That’s the dream, anyway – feel-good escapism (with a generous dose of steamy!)

The perfect writing day? Coffee, a blank sheet of paper, peace and a decent keyboard. I’m lucky enough to have a view across the fields from the window of my study, which allows my mind to run free. You can read my inspiration for the first novel in the Draymere Hall Series here.

I love sharing my stories, and hope you enjoy them. Don’t be a stranger, drop me a line, find me on Facebook and Twitter, or subscribe to my mailing list so I can keep you updated with events and promotional offers.
